Histioteuthis reversa, commonly known as the reverse jewel squid or the elongate jewel squid, is a species of cock-eyed squid. It occurs in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans; it has been recorded off the coasts of Canada, Japan, Madeira, Namibia, New Zealand, Spain, Suriname, and the United States.
