Thurston's fan palm, Lau fan palm Arecaceae Polynesian Names: Piu (Tonga); Viu (Fiji) Pritchardia thurstonii is endemic to Fiji "Lau Group," and Tonga (ʻEua Vavaʻu) IUCN listed as "Near Threatened"  Introduced and commonly used in the Hawaiian Islands landscapes.
