Early morning beach sunflowers and a well-fed assassin bug at Juno Dunes by the new observation tower & boat basin. Also called the East Coast dune sunflower, this wonderful plant happily grows in pure beach sand. It's best to catch them early as many things chew on them and the petals soon look a bit dilapidated.
