Justification
This species has only been recorded from one location in Thailand. It is a scenic site visited by tourist and local people. However, despite of this species' specific habitat (it only grows attached to rocks in river rapids and waterfalls), there is currently no evidence that tourism is impacting the species. It is assessed as Near Threatened as it could potentially meet criteria for B2 should the described threats cause habitat degradation or a decline in population is observed. Careful monitoring of the known location is recommended.
