Armeria soleirolii is found in five locations with an extent of occurrence of 114 km² and an area of occupancy smaller than 20 km². The species range, habitat quality and extent, number of subpopulations and number of mature individuals are declining as all sites are threatened by the encroachment of invasive species such as Carpobrotus spp. and recreational and tourist activities. It is therefore classed as Endangered.
