Asclepias amplexicaulis
Asclepias amplexicaulis (Blunt-leaved Milkweed, Clasping Milkweed) is a species of milkweed, in the subfamily Asclepiadaceae[1], which is cited as a wildflower native to the United States [2], mostly found in Central and Eastern areas and grown in the spring time. It is found growing in dry fields and open woods, usually in sandy soil and 1-3 feet in height. [3] It contains a poison dangerous to humans and livestock, special care must be taken when using this plant. [4]
