Pesticides aren’t just made by people. The bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis makes its own bug spray in the form of toxic proteins. The best thing about Bacillus thuringiensisis that it does little harm to other wildlife. Farmers have long used this natural pesticide to stop hungry insects. Some crops have even been bred to make the Bacillus thuringiensis pesticide by themselves.
