Ferruginous hawk (
Buteo regalis) is a raptor of the open country of the Western USA, .and it is the largest American hawk. The Ferruginous Hawk, is one of only three American hawks to have legs feathered all the way to the toes; the others being the Rough-legged hawk and the Golden eagle. Reference
