Description
A green anole on ʻaiea (Nothocestrum breviflorum) giving me side-eye. These lizards are becoming less common in Hawaii likely due to predation and/or competition with the aggressive brown anole (Anolis sagrei). Both are alien species to the Hawaiian Islands--which have no native lizards and land snakes.
