Anhinga (Anhinga anhinga), female, Parque Nacional de Tortuguero, Costa Rica.  Interesting fact: The anhinga is, unlike ducks or cormorants, not able to waterproof its feathers! This make is more easier to dive and hunt for prey unterwater, however, means also that it has to dry its feathers for quite a long time. Great time to take pictures!
