This illustration from the Magazine of Botany, vol 11 page 219 was published by Joseph Paxton in 1844. It is hand coloured and titled 'Platyobium parviflorum' which seems to be a subspecies of P. formosum according to ANPS at
asgap.org.au/p-for.html. Paxton, of Crystal Palace fame, says "It is a native of the east coast of New Holland and was introduced into gardens in (England) about 1792."
