"The Lone Cypress", a Monterey Cypress (Cupressus macrocarpa) / said to be on this point for more than 250 years / This is a species of cypress that is endemic to the Central Coast of California and is confined naturally to two small populations, the Del Monte Forest and Pt. Lobos, south of Carmel.
