Geographic Range
<p><span class="taxon"><em>Aechmophorus occidentalis</em></span> is commonly found from Canada through California, and sometimes in Mexico. It usually occurs in the great plains and western states, but occasionally can be found in the eastern half of the United States.</p> <p><strong>Biogeographic Regions: </strong>Nearctic; Nearctic :: Native</p>
