Conservation Status

The depletion of coral reef habitats and marine aquarium fishes has presented a relatively new market in aquaculture. It is possible to rear Amphiprion percula in controlled conditions (Gordon et al., 2000), and it may eventually play a significant role in maintaining stable populations. At present, this species is not threatened or endangered. (Gordon et al., 1998)

IUCN Red List: Not Evaluated

US Federal List: No special status

CITES: No special status
