PEGASUS 7 Naturalists

PEGASUS 7 Student Naturalists Community allows students in a middle school in Providence, RI to pursue a discipline of interest in the natural world. The information uncovered in EOL allows for research and collaboration with classmates. This database, along with its images, information, and capability will be accessed by students as they focus on the methodologies needed to conduct field work and embark upon a problem solving approach to some naturalistic issue in their own neighborhoods. The culminating activity will be entry into the Young Naturalist Awards through the American Museum of Natural History.

Hi Jeff, your students are making some great collections! They might want to edit the descriptions (of their collections) to explain more about why they made the choices they and to spell out RI. Right now someone searching EOL for "Rhode Island" won't find collections that only have "RI" in the title.
