@Katja Schulz: Sorry Katya, missed your comment about which taxon I was commenting on (having added a wrong machine tag), and I have forgotten now! I thought I had solved the issue just by changing the machine tag. If I remember I'll check the images again.

@Alexa DiNicola: Thanks, pay special attention to the Flickr and the Wikimedia Commons images and where appropriate give high ratings or set examplars. Many of them are better than the images we have from other sources.

@Cyndy Parr: I can review some of those, especially the western-USA species. I'll get to it shortly.

Do we have any curators qualified to trust or untrust images of lilies? There are some very good unreviewed photos here but I can't be sure of the identifications http://eol.org/pages/45417/worklist

@Paul Bedell: You can tweak this yourself. As a curator, you can click on the Names tab and select show all classifications. Then select the classification with the name you wish to display at the top of the page.

On EOL when I go to Xylophagus cinctus, it takes me to X. abdominalis. But on ITIS, X. abdominalis is invalid, and should be synomyized with cinctus. http://www.itis.gov/servlet/SingleRpt/SingleRpt?search_topic=TSN&search_value=130114

Thanks Katja. I'll monitor things. I realize it is a LOT of content to deal with. I'm still very interested in helping out when I can. Rob :o)

@Rob Mutch: Hi Rob, there may have been a problem with the last YouTube harvest. We'll look into it. Most likely the videos will come back on board without you having to do anything. I don't think a lot of curators review videos. Most focus on text or images, and we still have some capacity building to do for the videos. Keep in mind that EOL has over 400,000 unreviewed data objects, so it may take a while for a curator to bump into any particular piece of content.

It appears all my videos have been "kicked out" of their respective EOL species pages once again. The first time this happened I had to make some coding change to the videos on Youtube (where they are hosted). Do I need to do this again? To be honest this is dampening my enthusiasm for content donation to EOL. I'm a professional nature photographer, so, my videos are not poor quality. And, they are not being reviewed as trusted. Why? Perhaps, I'm not making my copyright/ownership of the videos clear? Hmmm... I LOVE the EOL meme and E. O. Wilson. Rob :o)

@Jamie McMillan: Hi Jamie, You mentioned that your "photo has been imported into a taxon with the same error..." It would be good for us to know which taxon you are referring to, so we can try to get the error fixed. Can you please provide a link to the page with the bad taxon name? Thanks!

@Robert Guralnick: Hello Robert, I work with biodiversity surveys in Venezuela, we have data for birds, butterflies and dung beetles that come from compilations of literature records and national scale field surveys. I took a look at the Map of Life, and it looks like a good opportunity to share our data, how do I contact the data manager(s)?
