The Global Genome Initiative will develop the research agenda and promote a global network of biorepositories and research organizations to preserve and study genomic diversity and increase access to genomic information from the key branches of the Tree of Life––expanding our contribution to the preservation and knowledge of life on our planet.
Metrics are generated by querying repositories for family-level taxa. The classification follows the new Families of All Living Organisms (FALO rev 1c) developed by the Integrated Taxonomic Information Service (ITIS) and the National Museum of Natural History. Last indexed March 6, 2014
