The red squirrel is a small, very vocal rodent. It barks, squeaks, and chatters for hours when annoyed.
The long-tailed weasel is a voracious predator and can consume 1/3 of its body weight in 24 hours. They are endangered in some places as well as threatened in others.
The Eastern chipmunk is a small hibernating rodent that has soft fur and burrows in complicated tunnels. It lives in forests, suburban areas, and city parks as well as other places.
Gray squirrels have soft and fluffy coats and go through a 'black phase' where their entire body and tail become black. Their vocal patterns mainly include squeaks and chatters.
