Bacteria > Synechococcaceae
Animalia > Sciaenidae
Spotted jewfish
This got an unusual amount of traffic on April 27, 2012 and the next few days. Not sure why but it must have been in the news.

Cape Snake Lizard
We have a number of SEM and specimen images, would be good to get a live animal image. Not a high priority.

Primates
There are many primate images that have no more specific taxon association. Some of these are trusted as "Primates", some of them are not. Could use someone with better knowledge than I have to wander through and associate some species.
-- cyndy replies -- Can you give an example? I went looking for images just associated with Primates and out of about 50 from the Primate worklist (so far) I couldn't find any. What partner do they come from?
Animalia > Viperidae
Hognose Vipers
Animalia > Isopoda
Image of Oryctolagus cuniculus
Could use either judgment about usefulness to eol (I think it's okay, but....) and/or identification of the animals shown.
cellular organisms > Anthozoa
Given that we have Hexacorallians of the World as a partner (see http://eol.org/collections/229), it seems odd we don't have anything at all for the top-level taxon page for their work.

Plantae > Asparagales
Orchids
We can do much better than the comprehensive description currently featured on this page. A brief description that illuminates this taxon would be deeply appreciated.

Animalia > Didelphidae
Chacoan Pygmy Opossum
Yes, it could use a photo. Yes, the brief overview should be reviewed by a curator. But wow, something wonky is happening with the details page down at the bottom, perhaps with the Wikipedia article.

Blue Swallow
This could use a photo! Katja uploaded a color drawing to Wikimedia Commons.
Animalia > Oxynotidae
Caribbean roughshark
Would be lovely to have a good image for this. Not high priority. (an unvetted source photo has been added, tried Andrej Gajic for curation- Jen)

This list is of things I would like to get to and feel I can contribute to, but in no way am I hoarding. If someone gets there first, that's great. Mostly it's a finding aid to me for stuff I've found around or seen on the redhotpending list and put in a shorter list. If you wan to be a manager, let me know.

Some of the cherry blossom news may want to link to this page so we should also spruce it up.

Could use a photo. There are a few on Flickr but we'll also need a good curator to ensure that they are properly identified.
