I am quite surprised that with 130 photos none of them show the infamous "threat display". The threat display can often times be helpful with identification of a particular subspecies as it will show a particular color pattern that is present on the wings. This is especially true for the female mantid.

I always thought this bird was caled a "morning dove" because I always saw them in the morning. :)
