Merged Zoiaella trochamminoides with Ceratina trochamminoides.
Hi Katja, I am now at work and have found the explanation. The foram genus Ceratina was described and named by Goes, 1894 BUT the name was already occuppied as a genus described by Latrelle 1802, nec Menge, 1868. Loeblich and Tappan 1962 realised this and gave Goes genus a new name Zoeyella L & T 1962 with Ceratina trochamminoides Goes, 1894 as the type species. Thus the correct combination is Zoeyella trochamminoides (Goes, 1894). Both species combinations were listed in worms and the Ceratina t had not been synonymised by me to Zoyaella t. I have now done this - thanks for pointing it out. It will be updated through to EOL some time soon I expect. Bruce (Bruce W.
