EOL plans to have a page for each taxon (each named organism or group of organisms). The EOL community has compiled information for nearly a million pages (the tally on our home page) and has created pages for millions more named organisms. This collection is a selection of pages that have especially high page richness scores -- in other words, these are pages with lots of good information. To see the Richness Score of any taxon page, go to the Updates tab and select Page Statistics.
