LifeDesk Invertebrados Marinos de México se ha establecido para mostrar parte de la increíble biodiversidad de invertebrados marinos en México. Este sitio tiene como objetivo proporcionar un recurso público en línea, respaldado por expertos en sistemática y taxonomía de diferentes grupos marinos; principalmente especialistas mexicanos. Esencialmente pretende complementar las guías generales y bases de datos en línea (por ejemplo, el libro Sea of Cortez Marine Invertebrates y la base Macrofauna Golfo Invertebrate Database). Con la ventaja de que proporciona imágenes en vivo para la mayoría de las especies, datos sobre su distribución y en algunos casos aspectos sobre su biología evolutiva. Last indexed June 13, 2013
