Katja Listen the Neopanope Texana is a completely different specimen than the Dyspanus Texanus, you have to un merge the two page they're not the same creature

Hi Michael, my name is Penny and I live in Joshua Tree CA. I recently noticed that my Joshua Tree (Yucca brevifolia) is oozing a deep red substance from the trunk. I would call it "sap" however I can not find anything online regarding sap. The oozing is about 18" above the ground and when it dries it turns an orange/tan color and hardens. Do you know what this could be?
